Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation is a 20-year-old not-for-profit philanthropic organization serving Berkshire, Litchfield, Columbia and Dutchess Counties.
Berkshire Taconic has been very happily located at 271 Main Street in Great Barrington for 10 years. The First Congregational Church is our landlord and our central location with easy access and plenty of parking has made this an ideal location. The Foundation has been growing slowly over the past 10 years and anticipates continued slow, steady growth over the next 20. Unfortunately, we cannot expand in our current space given the long-term leases of other tenants at 271 Main Street.
It is with the long-term future of the Foundation in mind that the Board of Directors is issuing its Request for Proposals for well-located, efficient, economic office space. The Foundation manages over $80 million of assets and has a strong balance sheet. It is an A rated tenant and is seeking new office space that reflects its quality, financial strength and cost effectiveness.

- prominent street identity, downtown Great Barrington location or within 5 mile radius. Route 7 corridor preferred

Transaction options: All options will be considered: long-term lease, build to suit, purchase of building or raw land. Gifts of land or building are tax deductible.
