Many people in the Berkshire Taconic region feel strong ties to a town or community that they would like to support. If you feel this way, you may want to contribute to one of our eleven Area Funds.
Donor-advised funds allow you to play an active role in grantmaking. You may make contributions and recommend grants whenever you wish, with Berkshire Taconic handling all investment and administrative details.
Field of Interest
A field of interest fund allows you to direct your gift to an area of need or interest you care about. Depending on how you establish the fund, you may play a role in making grant recommmendations, with Berskhire Tacoinc overseeing a competitive grantmaking process.
Donors with strong ties to a particular organization often establish a designated fund for its purpose. Designated funds often provide much-needed income to schools, houses of worship, arts groups, town activities and many other kinds of organizations and causes.
