In March 2025, the youngest advisory committee at BTCF gathered for the first time. The committee for the $100,000 Margaret Derwin Scholarship was made up of former recipients, now young professionals, who once navigated the same Housatonic Valley hallways as the applicants they reviewed. 

Their insight and energy added a meaningful new layer to the committee’s deliberations. Volunteering for the committee embodies the spirit of generosity that shaped their lives.
