For students who have received a GED or have graduated from Pittsfield High School and have been residents of Pittsfield for a minimum of 3 years prior to application.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The John & Elizabeth Laurent Family Scholarship Fund provides support for continuing education for first-generation students with significant financial need and who are residents of Pittsfield, MA. Scholarships may be renewed upon reapplication and approval for each year of the student's studies, up to four years. Preference will be given, if there are eligible candidates, to students interested in vocational (or other nontraditional) degrees in the trades, technical fields or in pursuing a certificate from a professional training program that will assist them in advancing their work in the field of their choice. Scholarship funding will provide financial support for the cost of attendance, including tuition, child care, books and travel expenses.
