Alden Warner

Alden Warner was a Vice Chairman in Asset & Wealth Management at J.P. Morgan Chase, where he spent two decades counseling large private clients on investing, estate planning, and general financial management until his retirement in May 2023. During his earlier career at J.P. Morgan, Alden held positions in Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions, leading the firm’s insurance M&A practice during the early 1990s. Additionally, he worked for four years, mid-career, at Zurich Financial Services, managing a number of that firm’s investments in the reinsurance, broker/dealer, payroll, and real estate businesses. Alden is a trustee emeritus of Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford, Connecticut, and a former trustee of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail Association. Additionally, he serves on the Comprehensive Planning Committee and the Board of Assessment Review for the town of Copake, New York. He was raised in Farmington, Connecticut and received his bachelor’s degree in English, summa cum laude, from Yale University in 1980. He and his husband live in New York City and in Copake.
