Jamal Ahamad

Jamal Ahamad has been a dedicated contributor to the arts, culture, and education sectors in Berkshire County for more than a decade. With a B.A. and an M.S. in education from MCLA, he combines his liberal arts background and educator training to create safe, welcoming spaces for young people to explore their interests and engage in creative learning. His work with Berkshire Dance Theatre and various schools between Pittsfield and Williamstown keeps him deeply connected to the community.  Beyond his professional roles, Jamal frequently facilitates workshops for fellow educators, choreographs, teaches dance, and engages in multimedia projects and playwriting. His energy, passion for artistic connection, and commitment to education make him a valuable presence across multiple institutions in the region. Jamal resides in Adams, Mass.
