Joanna joined the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation in June 2024 as our Program Assistant.  She processes grants and scholarships and assists with database and project management.

Prior to joining Berkshire Taconic, she worked at the Schoharie County Historical Society in New York.  She has held previous positions in the agriculture, academic, and technology sectors.  Other nonprofit organizations that she has worked with include Colonial Williamsburg and the Saratoga County History Center.

Joanna earned her B.A. in history from Siena College, and she will be graduating from SUNY Albany at the end of 2024 with an M.A. in public history and an M.S. in information science specializing in archives and records administration.

Having grown up on a farm in Central New York, Joanna is very excited to live in the Berkshires, a place that reminds her of home.  She lives in Lee, Mass. with her partner and her two cats, Tip and Bo.
