Director of Communications & Marketing
Jenn Frederick joined Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation as the Director of Communications in Marketing in 2023. She leads the communications strategy to strengthen community relationships and bring awareness to BTCF’s services and impact in the region.
Jenn is a communications professional with over 16 years of experience using audience-centered communications to help businesses grow and become more inclusive. She has a wide-ranging skill set, including everything from strategic planning and leadership to web design and digital marketing. In combination with her background in cultural studies and creative design, Jenn cultivates meaningful and innovative connections between people and ideas.
Jenn is a longtime resident of the Berkshire Taconic region and part of a multicultural family hailing from El Salvador, Central America, and various Eastern U.S. cities and states. She graduated from Taconic Hills High School in Columbia County, NY, and earned her B.A. from Smith College, majoring in anthropology. She studied abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and speaks Spanish and Portuguese. She is currently earning a master’s-level certificate in Diversity and Inclusion Leadership from Tufts University.
Jenn lives in Egremont, MA, with her partner, two children, and Cookie, the family dog. They love skiing, Ultimate frisbee, games, cooking, and kitchen dance parties.
