Lisa A. Bowden has most recently been an educational leader and executive with over two decades of experience in school administration, strategic oversight, and community service. Currently serving as the Assistant Executive Director at EdAdvance, she brings a wealth of expertise in organizational management, curriculum development, and school district financial management, having previously served as the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent for the Region 1 School District. Her background is multidisciplinary, combining a foundational career in international technology sales and consulting with an MBA from the University of Southern California. She attended Georgetown University as an undergraduate where she earned a B.S, in Mandarin Chinese. A veteran of numerous boards, including the Great Mountain Forest and the Housatonic Youth Services Bureau, Lisa offers a blend of fiscal responsibility, policy governance, and a steadfast commitment to community development. She resides in Norfolk, Connecticut.
