Controller
Lisa Allen came to Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation in February 2023 as a temporary project accountant to assist with the 2022 audit. The assignment grew over the next year and a half, as Lisa helped the Finance Department improve account reconciliations, processes and financial reporting. In September 2024, she became the Foundation's Controller, where she oversees all financial operations as well as leading our highly motivated and skilled Finance team.
Lisa brings many years of accounting experience including 20+ years as a Director of Finance for a 3000 member non-denominational church. She has also held various accounting positions in the banking industry.
Lisa earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Western New England College. She currently lives in Sandy Hook, Conn. with her husband, Scott and two dachshunds, June and Cash.
