A.J. Enchill

A.J. Enchill, a Pittsfield native born to immigrants from Ghana, is committed to economic empowerment and racial equity in the Berkshires. During his time at The Governor’s Academy and Tufts University, he built a strong record of leadership and community engagement. He served as district aide for State Senator Adam G. Hinds, providing constituent services and community outreach. A.J. is the founder and president of the Berkshire Black Economic Council and serves on the executive committee of the Berkshire County Branch of the NAACP. He has been recognized for his leadership with the Non Sibi Sed Aliis Award from The Governor’s Academy and as a Berkshire 25 honoree by Berkshire Magazine. He was appointed by Governor Maura Healey to the Governor’s Advisory Committee on Black Empowerment. Committed to shaping a more inclusive and prosperous future, A.J. actively encourages young professionals to invest in the Berkshires and contribute to its growth. A.J. resides in Pittsfield, Mass.
