BTCF Grants Over $6M To-Date in 2024

In the first six months of 2024, Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation distributed a total of $6,719,660.90 to individuals and nonprofits in the four-county region it serves.

Funding comes from individual donors who give through their charitable fund at the Foundation and competitive grant programs administered by local volunteer committees and Foundation staff members.

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) account for $2,372,520 in gifts so far in 2024. DAFs are BTCF’s most popular fund for individuals and families because they help organize and simplify the giving process. Other charitable funds including Nonprofit Agency Funds, Designated Funds, Field of Interest Funds, and Legacy Funds account for additional funding and grants mobilized for our communities.
